Set Design
I have been working in the theatre since 2001. I have worked with such theatres and theatre companies as Barabbas, Spraoi, Ex-Machina, Theatre Royal Waterford, Project Arts Centre, Theatre Space, Gaeity, Asylum, Graffiti and Bowler Hat Productions. During that period I have also done a lot of festival work with the likes of the Kilkenny Arts Festival, Waterford Spraoi, Dublin Theatre festival, Cat Laughs, Night & Day (Galway), Patrick’s Day (Cork & Dublin), Belfast Arts Festival, Witness, Creamfields, P.S.I and M.C.D..
Artwork
The study of the figure has driven much of my work since college. Much of this impetus was derived from exposure to the work of Rodin. The concerns raised by that encounter fuel much of my work to this day. It was the intense, physical response to his work that made me decide to study sculpture, but it was the presence of that work that made me want to explore further through paint.
Thanks for visiting my site. From this page you will be able to view two different sides of my output. In one direction you can explore my set design, and in the other, my paintings. It is my sincere hope that if you have come to look at one, you might take the time to explore the other.
